Painting and drawing is my way of living since my childhood. While working at a publisher I attended art classes at the Wackers Academy in Amsterdam and graduated in 1993. Nowadays most of my work is in watercolors on paper. Flowers and the surroundings of my cabin in the woods are my inspirations. Inspirators from the past are Claude Monet, Paul Cézanne, Andrew Wyeth and Edgar Degas.
